Our Lived Experience Advisory Panel (LEAP) is an essential part of our research project. Our LEAP provide oversight and accountability across the lifetime of the Hub, and meet around 4 times per year, although some years they meet more often.

Our diverse LEAP has over ten people with lived experience of experience of complex emotions and difficulties that might be associated with the diagnosis of 'Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD)', 'Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder (EUPD)' or 'Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (CPSTD)'. Our Lived Experience Advisory Panel not only meet regularly online but also have co produced many of the documents we use in this research project such as the participant information sheet, interview schedule and which repeat questionnaires we use. They also have the opportunities to take on other roles in the research, such as representing our research with our funders, developing their own research projects and helping us communicate our findings. Our Lived Experience Advisory Panel us a wide range of creative methods such as writing blogs, paintings and poetry to communicate what we do.
